January 18th, 2010 - Torrey Pines Soaring Council

When: Monday, January 18th, 6pm
Where: Administration Office for Montgomery Field (there is only
one building) at 3750 John J. Montgomery Dr., San Diego CA 92123 - First Floor Meeting Room - Off of Aero Drive between I15 and 163.
Why: The Torrey Pines Soaring Council is mentioned in the Gliderport lease as being the organization that represents user groups at the Gliderport. The Torrey Hawks would like to be added to this Council, and we have been requesting membership since September of 2007. Unfortunately, our previous USHPA representative, Brad Hall, has not been supporting our effort to be added. Ken Baier replaced Brad Hall in mid 2009 and we have been asking Ken to support adding the Hawks to the Council.
