| I don't know if it is about the cost, but more about flexing their muscle. |

Mark Forbes only flexes his bias while on his little power trip.
The USHPA has succumbed to corporatism and secrecy.
The recall is going to backfire on the stated goal because now the whole world is tuning in to the Torrey Pines situation.
You couldn't buy that kind of publicity.. |

| "One more question for you that I would like answered from you, or Mark, or USHPA's lawyer… What has precipitated the USHPA lawyer's involvment with you and them? My USHPA money is getting wasted and that's a tragedy if you ask me. Not to mention the good-will "resources" of our precious volunteers over there. So, what happened?" BJ Herring |

Guitar Pilot is correct about USHPA operating as an oligarchy.
They just act like a monopoly..

Davis tells you to scale down in the same post he talks about the value of publicity.
The recall effort is vehicle to take the message of transparency and accountability nation wide. The membership is being attacked by the monopolistic oligarchy of the monied interest hiding behind a paranoid, sue happy lawyer that is leading this corporation that doesn't really sell anything..
Forbes doesn't think the postage, etc. will be that great of an expense.. of course it won't hurt his pocket anyway.. It may be a cheap expense to railroad a free thinker out of the coven but the value of the publicity will prove to be much more costly.
Dirty tricks are a symptom of corruption.
Paranoid secrecy is the hallmark of cover up.
A past President of USHPA is claimed to be suffering dementia.
He probably can't remember where all the money went.
Mark Forbes, knows where all the bodies are buried.
He helped dig the holes.. |

I have to agree with you on that one "Free".
Yeah, I'm sure there are quite a few keeping tabs on the Region 3 situation.
If Region 3 gets screwed over, what's to prevent that from overflowing into
other regions? And it will definitely happen sooner or later, once USHPA
figures their tatics were sucessful. More like scare tatics.
I haven't been a member since the end of 80'. Nor do I wish to, until there
is change for the better or a new organization that will work for it's membership.
The organization is the membership, but a lot of people
seem to have forgotten that. |

Maybe. But I'm worried about the integrity of the voting process. The EC is supposed to oversee the process (counting, etc). But with their clear bias, I'd like to know who's going to oversee them? Can we get Jimmy Carter? |
