This weekend, we lost Haim Amir in a powered hang gliding accident at the Salton Sea. I don't have the details yet, but I will post them as appropriate at a later time.
Haim was Torrey Hawk #20, and I'll post some photos from his first tandem flight at Torrey along with the first tandem flight of his son (both with Dave Beardslee). These were taken on October 11th, 2009.
I didn't know Haim very well, but what I did know was superb. Haim will be missed by many. Please feel free to post any of your own memories and photos of Haim. |
