The brainstorming seems to have fizzled at the org.
There is nothing coming out of USHPA.
Tweaking competition, isn't it.
Google stalking, isn't it.
Making it harder to instruct, isn't it.
.
USHPA corporation has no product to sell.
It's a bad business model that punishes and milks those that actually are selling product to the public, the instructors.
USHPA's function is similar to any secretive governmental agency that feeds on the worker bees, and all governments go bad over time.
Ours stinks and the abuses only intensify as we dose our damaged minds on entertainment and self indulgent escapism.
It's "1984" and a Brave New World in your face when a "respectful" letter is labeled nefarious intent and paranoid lawyers pad their paycheck by defending exclusion and secrecy where openness and transparency is the true obligation.
I have some ideas on preserving the sport if anyone wants to hear them. |

Thanks Bob. I wish I could put it together as well as you are able to lay things out. I've tried to sell the idea several times without success. I ran it by Davis years ago but there was nothing in it for him so that didn't go anywhere.
Censorship and distortion attacks against me didn't help either.
It may be too late now but I would still like to lay the plan out if only just for the record.
It's all about free.
My offer a few years ago was a free flight park to the right instructor/s.
As free as one person that wasn't rich could make it free.
My offer was free infrastructure start-up for instructors without money.
(know any?)
In 2001 an idea was '*flight park in a box.' I donated tug and time in Florida, Texas and North Carolina in 2001.
My last real flying trip ended on September 11, 2001.
*Rob Kells might have coined the term, or at least, he mentioned it, God bless his soul. .. side note..Davis blatantly used Rob's funeral as opportunity to spread his dark message of atheism.. what a jerk...
Anyway, around 2003 I decided to donate my tug and other help to start off a new flight park to the right instructor/s. I had a 160 acre private skydiving airport lined up to work out of and there was no real competition for effective and competent hang gliding instruction within 500/ 600 miles of a good size population area.
My idea was to simply support growth by supporting those that make growth happen. Instructors are the producers. USHPA lawyers and google are merely parasitical in that endeavor.
There's more but let me break this up into several posts, if you don't mind. My writing comes painfully slow.
to be continued.. |

That's a good start. It is the only place it can start- - -with the instructors.
More please, when you can. |
